Reference Ranges:
- Normal: ~20-40 nmol/s
- Low: Possible deiodinase deficiency (hypothyroidism, selenium deficiency)
- High: Increased conversion (hyperthyroidism, inflammation)
Parameters:
- β = 1.1 (typical value for euthyroid subjects)
- D = 0.3 (typical value for euthyroid subjects)
